Silas

Updated: Jul 6, 2022

I want to tell you about an amazingly resilient little boy named Silas, who came to Open Arms Village almost eight years ago. He was not quite two yeas old when he was rescued from the streets, where he was living with his mother.

Silas was such a sick little guy, covered in wounds and suffering with malaria and untreated epilepsy. His mother had lived on the streets from a very young age after her mother had died and she was left to fend for hersellf.

When Silas came to the attention of the Child Welfare Officer, it was quickly decided that, with all of his medical needs, Open Arms Village was the right place for him.

Now, Silas is a brilliant boy with big dreams of becoming an architect one day. And, because of you, his dreams can come true.

You are giving Silas and many other children a second chance at a beautiful life.

Thank you!

Serving together,

Kaytie Fiedler
