Safe at Open Arms

During the December holidays, some of the children from Open Arms Village go for short family visits. One little girl who recently came to the Village heard about this and was terrified!

“I am not going!”, she said. “I don’t want you to take me back where I came from. I am not going back there!”, she added, her voice shaking.

Her words are a reminder of the terrible things that some of the children have gone through. More than that, they are a reminder of the sanctuary that is Open Arms Village.

Every smile and every laugh that comes from the children is testament to the way your are changing lives.

An African proverb states that it takes a village to raise a child. You are part of that village!

Thank you for loving vulnerable children around the world.

Blessings,

Kaytie Fiedler
