Rachel felt called to be a missionary as a little girl. After receiving her nursing degree from Oral Roberts University, she worked as a staff and charge nurse in the pediatric and neonatal intensive care units of several prominent U.S. children’s hospitals. In 2002, she took a leap of faith and stepped into full-time ministry – and Open Arms International was born. She is now fulfilling God’s call on her life by living and serving at the Village as the President and Executive Director of Open Arms International Kenya.
Kaytie took her first international ministry trip in 2003 and fell in love with doing God’s work in the most desperate of places. While her travels have taken her many places in the world, her heart has remained with Open Arms, and she is currently serving as the Executive Director for the U.S. offices.
