Love Spelled M-A-N-G-O

It's amazing how something as small as a mango can teach us about love.

In the last few weeks, we've shared about John 3:16 and its incredibly personal message for each one of us - including the children at Open Arms Village! He cares deeply about the eternal salvation of these precious children, but He also cares about the smallest details of their lives.

For God so loved Jacob that He gave him his very own mango to eat. Let me explain...

A social worker brought Jacob and his younger sister to Open Arms Village, hungry and afraid. They had been severely neglected and often went without food for days at a time.

Just a few weeks after they joined the Open Arms family, we found out that there was one more sister! We rushed to pick her up, and as we brought her home to the Village, Jacob couldn't stop talking. "We have a big home with lots of fruits and vegetables!" he told her. "We are given a full mango without sharing with anyone! We eat so well before going to school."

For Jacob, a mango was his first tangible experience of love. Because his physical needs were met and his tummy was filled, he knew he was loved. That's what your support does!

Your gift of $11 provides a day of life for a child in need - including nutritional food that helps Jacob focus in school and gives him the energy to pursue his God-given purpose.

Here in Kenya, we see children thriving - thanks to you! Will you pray for an outpouring of financial blessing during this season of financial need for Open Arms? The Open Arms Village model is working. God is moving powerfully in their lives, but there is much more to do. Would you join us today?
