Usually this month, our staff would start preparing for our annual fall gala in Portland, Oregon – but we all know this year looks a little different.
Because of coronavirus, we’re canceling the gala and going global. This year, champions around the world can join us!
There’s no need to dress up, find a babysitter, or pay for parking. There won’t be any small talk, silent auction, or fancy program. And we won’t even ask you to tune in to an online event! (Zoom fatigue is real!)
Instead, we're asking you to consider giving what you would give at a fundraising gala. Every amount will make an eternal impact.
While many things look different this year, the need in Kenya remains the same. In fact, it grows!
Over the next few weeks, we'll be sharing stories about how coronavirus is impacting the community of Eldoret, Kenya and the children at Open Arms Village in specific ways.
