Abandoned in a maize field only hours after his birth, Ezra was discovered by a young girl and taken to the police station. He was freezing cold and wet, still wearing his hospital bracelet. His tiny body shivered as he laid in the arms of the police officer.
Ezra was rushed to the hospital, where he was placed in the neonatal ICU. Weighing only four pounds, his lungs struggled for every breath. But soon, this resilient baby by was strong enough to leave the hospital.
Open Arms Village, well known to provide excellent medical care for fragile children, was chosen as the home for this precious baby boy.
Today, Ezra continues to grow and thrive at Open Arms. He is a strong boy with a gentle soul. He loves animals and smiling comes easy for him.
